Over the weekend we trekked over to our local Sam’s Club to pick up some groceries. As a family of five, shopping for meals at Sam’s Club is a necessity. A lot of what we buy in bulk is food and goods that we go through readily during the week. Whether it is protein, eggs, or bread, Sam’s Club carries a lot of our family’s grocery essentials at a great price point. We love using the self-checkout lanes and their parking lane near the front of the entrance for easy loading. During this trip, we picked up Jimmy Dean Delights® for quick, easy breakfasts on the go and also a bag of Tyson Grilled & Ready Chicken® Breast Strips to make my dinner prepping/cooking process during the work week easier.
It’s been a chilly few days around here, so I cooked up some delicious comfort food from my childhood for the whole family! This quick & easy omurice recipe, made with Tyson Grilled & Ready Chicken® Breast Strips is a great meal that everyone in the family enjoys without complaint. *CUE ANGELS SING*
Omurice is a twist on the traditional fried rice recipe, where the meal is topped with fried egg and ketchup. It is still one of my favorites from childhood and I love seeing the boys enjoy it too.
Here is the recipe I used for this quick & easy omurice recipe, but you can easily swap out the veggies for anything you have around the house! Not only is it tasty, but it’s super easy to make (even on the fly). Eating well doesn’t have to be hard and you can definitely cook delicious homemade meals quickly and easily with Tyson Grilled & Ready Chicken® Breast Strips.
Quick & Easy Omurice Recipe

Dice up all of your vegetables and saute for 5-10 minutes in sesame seed oil.
Add in Tyson Grilled & Ready Chicken® Breast Strips and saute for additional 5-10 minutes.
Sprinkle in garlic powder, salt/pepper to taste.
Mix eggs in a small bowl and fry flat in a separate pan.
Add rice to vegetables and mix well. Cook for additional five minutes.
Plate a cup of fried rice, cover with egg and top with ketchup!
