It’s the big weekend! With a house full of football-loving boys, Super Bowl weekend is kind of a big deal around here. Do you watch the big game? Personally, I’m more into the commercials and half-time show, but the boys love every bit of the plays, calls and action!
As with any big “celebration” in our house, I like to keep things as simple and easy as possible for the whole family. Here are my Simple & Easy Party Prep Tips for Super Bowl Sunday:
1.) SIMPLE & EASY FOOD SPREAD
When it comes to game day food, we’re all about finger foods and easy appetizers! I love that the prep to get food ready for our guests isn’t too hectic. From our favorite wings to corn dogs and my easy salsa recipe, I keep it simple and easy when it comes to our Super Bowl party food.

2.) SIMPLE & EASY CLEAN UP WITH FEBREZE
After I get all the food prepped for the big game, I make sure to do a quick clean up and refresh of our kitchen and great room! They’re obviously the two rooms in our house that see the most action on Super Bowl Sunday.
If you’re looking for something quick and easy that gets the job done, Febreze AIR is a great room refresher for every day and especially on chaotic party days. A quick spritz of my odor-eliminating MVP go to Febreze AIR freshens up our rooms, so that there aren’t any lingering odors from my rapid cooking session pregame, post game, or in the middle of all the action!
While I want our guests to enjoy the yummy food, I don’t want them to have to deal with the before and after-effect odors when they’re trying to enjoy the game. There’s nothing worse than an offensive party foul – check out this video to see why and how Febreze AIR can save you and your home from the odors of any party.

While I want our guests to enjoy the yummy food, I don’t want them to have to deal with the odors when they’re trying to enjoy the game. Party prep with Febreze makes it easy to get our house guest-ready. Febreze AIR provides instant odor elimination and a burst of freshness so I can relax and enjoy the game, too!
3.) SIMPLE & EASY TABLE SETTINGS
Over the years, I’ve collected a small box (or two) worth of holiday themed paper goods. Between three kids and loving hostessing our friends and family, my go-to party trick is to use paper goods. Keeps the party prep fun and festive and the after party clean-up so much easier. No dirty dishes?! Sign me up, EVERY time! LOL.

4.) SIMPLE & EASY GAMES AND ACTIVITIES
Like I posted before, the boys love playing games and football-themed crafts. It’s a great way to keep everyone engaged during the game! Fun games like Game Day Bingo and table football are a great way to keep every guest happy!
Obviously for the Super Bowl, serious fans are watching for the commercials! AKA ME! We like to play a Super Bowl Sunday Commercial game and rank each of them on how well they do with the viewers. It’s a fun way to have everyone pay attention throughout the party!

5.) SIMPLE & EASY PARTY DECOR
Between the kids’ football themed arts and crafts and the festive paper goods, I like to keep the party decor to a minimum!
In addition to my stock of paper plates, I have some fun things like football ears, baby and kid-sized mini footballs and football related toys that I like to leave out for guests to enjoy.
Everyone comes dressed in the team they’re rooting for or their home team jerseys.

My Dubs Brudders Crew and I are all set for the Big Game this weekend, how about you?!
