Simple & Easy Tips for Family Easter Outfits

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Sponsored by Payless ShoeSource for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

Raise your hand if it takes F-O-R-E-V-E-R to get your family out the door in the morning. How about on the morning of a major holiday? Yep, that’s us too. The chaos that is our weekend morning routine when we’re trying to get somewhere on time is crazy to say the least.

Don’t even get me started on outfitting the whole family. I’m right there with you in my (lack of) preparation for coordinating family Easter outfits. Say What?! Easter is this Sunday?! When did this happen? And seriously, why does time fly by faster on weekends?

If you’re anything like me, you are (not) on the ball with the preparation for the upcoming holiday. Against the nature of my OCD, type A personality, I am doing things on the fly this week.

Thankfully, I’ve gotten through several holidays with last minute preparation and getting it together last minute. (I know, it’s a bad habit I should probably break, now that my oldest is getting awfully curious about every holiday, weeks in advance!)

Just a couple of days ago, I figured out our entire family’s outfits in a single afternoon! And of course I had to share my simple & easy tips for family Easter outfits with y’all here:

Reuse the Clothes You Have

With less than a week to go, figuring out a mood board and buying all new clothes for everyone wasn’t going to happen. Thankfully with the boys, I was able to mix and match different pieces of clothing that we already had in our overflowing closets. My husband paired his favorite sweater with different slacks. While the pieces of clothing might not be new to each person, the coordination of each outfit with the entire group gives it a fresh, new feel and look!

(Only) Buy One or Two New Items

I bought this jumper last minute because my spring colored dresses and Sunday best were out of season or in maternity since I was pregnant last year. I love that it’s a good outfit to have in my Spring wardrobe and I’ll wear it throughout the season. Having one member in a new outfit helps to create a whole new coordinated look for everyone.

Buy Versatile Shoes for the whole Family at Payless ShoeSource

I love the selection of different styles for everyone in the family. Payless ShoeSource has so many different options for the whole family and at such a great price point. I was able to pick out shoes that works for Easter and throughout the year. The boys’ chambray casual shoetoddler casual shoe, and casual slip-on are perfect for a dressier look for Easter, but functions really well for every day wear too.

My husband needed a new pair of dress shoes for work, so these cap toe oxfords were a great buy! He loves the cushion sole and the cognac color is so versatile for the special occasion and every day work wear, too.

I am LOVING my blush bow mules. They are so comfortable and the color is so pretty. I know I’ll be wearing them a lot this Spring season.

The absolute best part about the shoes at Payless ShoeSource are the prices! They have Women’s shoes for as low as $19.99 and Kids’ show for as low as $9.99.

While I still have to get out to buy stuff for the boys’ Easter baskets and figure out what I’m going to bring to Easter dinner, the whole family is set for our Easter outfits! And if we don’t get a good family photo on Sunday, at least I have a few framers for future memory’s sake. (Re: one dog is missing, the baby is not happy, and the toddler is just MEH, but hey whatever works!) I’m just happy that I was able to use my simple & easy tips for family Easter outfits to pull of this coordinated look for Sunday.
