One of my favorite indoor activities to do with the kids is cooking! A and C are always eager to help out in the kitchen. Cooking for a family of five is no easy feat, but I have go-to easy recipes that I like to use for our family cooking sessions. Breakfast is always an easy meal for the boys and I to make together. On the weekends, we like to enjoy our ‘lazy mornings,’ and whip up a delicious breakfast meal together. Nine out of ten times, the boys always request pancakes for their breakfast. I love how easy it is to make delicious and fluffy pancakes with Bisquick Original Pancake and Baking Mix. It’s our go to for all of our easy pancake recipes.

I love cooking for my family and it’s such a joy to share the experience with my kids. While they are still a bit young to do all of the cooking, they’re pretty hands on when it comes to meal prep. My oldest loves that he can help prepare meals “all by himself,” and my two year old is starting to join in on the activity, too!
We love making pancakes with our favorite Bisquick Original Pancake and Baking Mix. The boys love this simple and festive pancake recipe, just in time for Valentine’s Day! My favorite part is that it’s super easy for the boys to make the batter with just a little bit of supervision. Watch below to see how we made our favorite Heart Funfetti Pancakes Easy Breakfast Recipe for Kids:
