My middle little is very particular about his foods and snacks. Picky toddler, what? While I’ve tried almost every trick in the book, these days the only way I know he is getting any healthy foods and nutrients is in our daily green smoothies. If I’m lucky, he’ll have a bite or two of vegetables during mealtime. As I am in the thick of transitioning to life as a mama of three, I love brands and products that make my life easier while providing nutrients for my (picky) toddler!
I love Sprout and their new Sprout® Organic Curlz™, the first plant-powered toddler snack made from organic chickpeas and lentils. Curlz are gluten-free, non-GMO, and offer a perfect curly, crunchy texture for toddlers. C loves to munch on these and I love that it’s an easy, on the go snack that is both tasty and nutritious for him. Sprout® Organic Curlz™ uses organic rosemary to maintain freshness, and contains no added or artificial flavors, colors, preservatives, concentrates, or sugars. It’s available in Broccoli, White Cheddar, and Sweet Potato & Cinnamon varieties.
C is a food pouch and puree lover. I think it’s mostly a texture preference for him and it’s a convenience preference for me. Because anything that saves (cooking) time is a win in my book. Since his infant days, purees and pouches have been a go-to source of nutrients for our middle little. While I encourage him to eat with us during mealtimes, I know that I can count on Sprout Toddler Purees to be both tasty and nutritious for my picky toddler.
Sprout® Power Pak™ is unlike other baby food brands that use added chemical fortification. They are toddler purees made from 100% plant-based nutrients. Sprout’s unique superblend (coconut milk, navy beans, chia, dates) provides essential nutrients for toddlers, including 3 grams of protein, 3 grams of fiber, a full serving of fruit, and omega 3 from chia. Sprout® Power Pak™ toddler purees were the first Toddler Puree in clear pouch packaging. They are available in 4 delicious varieties (Kiwi Banana & Spinach, Tropical Fusion, Apple Apricot & Strawberry, and Strawberry Banana & Butternut Squash) in 4 ounce pouches with twist-off, re-sealable caps. Food pouches are a lifeline in our household. Super easy and Pinterest Fail Mom proof, no need or time to spend on “homemade” snacks for my picky toddler.
Have you tried Sprout snacks and baby food pouches? What are some of your easy, on the go snacks for your picky toddler?
