Mom Life Mondays: Blog Link Up #30

Another weekend has come and gone, but I can’t wait for this month! It is officially (hopefully) the start of Spring around these parts and the warm, sunny weather has me feeling all sorts of giddy!

Our weekend was full of lots of fun activities and outdoor time. While 60s and sunny might feel cold or brisk to some of you, it was a welcome warm weekend here in Michigan. It was great to spend so much time outside with the boys. On Saturday, we did some Spring cleaning and enjoyed playing in our back yard and neighborhood. Sunday was spent brunching with my fave mamas + dad, my friends/contributors over at Detroit Moms Blog. It was a brunch full of good eats, laughter, and endless mimosas for the non-pregnant crowd!

The boys got in some bike riding time up at the local Metro park while I was at brunch. In the afternoon,  we managed to squeeze in a much-needed hair cut for A + C and made an impromptu stop at Toys’R’Us and picked up a big boy bike for A! Needless to say, he was super excited to spend the evening hour before dinner/bed outside on his new bike.

Boy, oh, boy! 30 weeks! Can you believe it?! I can’t believe that after my next OB appointment, I’ll be checking in every two weeks. These weeks are just flying by and I’m sure the next two months or so will go by even faster. I’m trying to fight my insomnia by going to bed earlier, but it’s hit or miss most nights. And the other symptom that has crept up on me is random (and painful) foot cramps! I got them during my other pregnancies, so I’m sort of used to it, but dang the pain is sometimes excruciating! The boys and hubby have been so sweet and helping me massage out the pain whenever it happens.

My maternity shoot dress came in from Sew Trendy Accessories and I have a hair appointment later this week, so I’m excited to get pampered and to take some pics of my growing bump! It will be my first ever maternity photo shoot, so I’m equal parts excited and nervous. But, I’m thankful to capture the memories of such an amazing time in my life.

We’ve started to stock pile our smaller size diapers, but I really need to get on the ball about prepping for baby’s arrival. While I know he won’t need much aside from a safe place to sleep and mama’s milk, I’m hopeful that we’ll be able to prep a bit more for him in the next month or two. (Third child probs, already?! Haha!) The major one being is bunking up his big bros and getting his nursery ready! (Cue mama freak out!)

Hope y’all had a great weekend! Blogger friends, I can’t wait to read your latest and greatest posts! Please share your links below!
