Mom Life Mondays: Blog Link Up #28

Happy Monday and almost Spring, lovelies! I can hardly believe how quickly these months are flying by already this year! I am currently chugging my mug of lukewarm coffee as I had a bit of slow start to the day. Hope you all are faring better than I am so far and had a wonderful weekend, too! I do have my hair done and face on, so we’re headed in the right direction! Without further ado, here’s my weekly bumpdate + wknd recap + wkly link up!

Hello, Third Trimester! WOOF. This third baby is giving my aging my body a run for my money. Haha! All of my usual end of pregnancy symptoms have hit a lot faster this time. Heartburn is a regular companion and I’m having issues breathing and being comfortable in general. At the end of the day though, I’m grateful that I’m eating (TOO) well and have energy to keep up with my two little boys. Especially since insomnia is my BFF at night and I’m not getting much sleep these days.

I felt the baby’s hiccups for a good half hour while laying awake in bed this morning. Even though it’s my third time, there are still those moments that take my breath away. No matter the pain and discomfort, I am still amazed at the human body and its ability to create and grow life. I don’t remember it all the time, but I am so grateful to be able to experience it all.

I’ve never done a formal maternity shoot with either of my previous pregnancies, so I booked one for this one! I’m so excited!! I hope they turn out well and help me to remember and cherish this phase of my life.

I know it’s technically the first day of Spring, but in good ole’ Michigan, we had snow over the weekend. It’s all gone already, but the boys had a blast “shoveling” and playing outside. Our usual weekend activities were enjoyed by all and yesterday, we spent some quality time at my BFF’s for a fun playdate! The boys passed out on the car ride home; a sign of a good weekend’s end.

Hope you all had a great weekend with your littles and loved ones! Can’t wait to link up and read your posts this week!

Have you heard of blog link ups? Join us for our Mom Life Mondays blog linkup 28!

What is a blog link-up you ask? It’s a regular post that I’ll have on Mondays [pending any holidays or life emergencies], but it’s a place you can come to find the latest and greatest blog posts about all things parenting, motherhood, lifestyle, etc.

Featured Blogger from Link Up #27: Linda @ Unboxed Mom

This week’s blog link up feature is Linda and her post, Parenting Tips to Help a Child with a Broken Bone. While I hope that we will not have to deal with this any time soon (if ever!), raising three rambunctious little boys probably ups my odds of dealing with a broken bone. I love her real account of helping her babe through the pain and healing of a broken bone. Be sure to check out her post and blog for more great tips!

If you’re a blogger, please feel free to drop a link to a current motherhood-related blog post. I just ask that you follow the instructions detailed below!

We also have a chat loop on Instagram! Please follow JeeYoung (me!) @simplyeveryblog & Shannon @momwithoutlabels for our weekly #IGMOMSCHAT (usually on Thursday nights @ 9pm EST!)
