Springtime and the Easter holiday is big deal in our house. We love this time of year because the weather is starting to warm up and we get to enjoy a new season of fun and activities. My favorite part as a mom is to do some heavy spring cleaning of the kids’ seasonal wardrobes. After donating old and small clothing, I like to use the Easter holiday (and warm weather) as an excuse to do some shopping for my boys.
As a Jesus-lovin’ family, we love this special time of year that we get to celebrate with our friends and family; to reflect about the never ending love of our risen Lord. Every year, we attend Easter service with the grandparents and eat a great, delicious meal with our loved ones. I love that OshKosh B’gosh has so many nice Easter outfits and separates that moms love, without sacrificing comfort for the kids. I love dressing the boys in button downs for our Easter service, supper, and special family pictures. And I doubly love that they don’t complain about their clothes, either!
The boys LOVE all of our Easter activities. From painting holiday-themed projects to reading their favorite Easter books, we like to enjoy the holiday in the weeks leading up to the day. What’s not to love about chocolate eggs, furry bunny books, and egg hunts, right?!
This year, we’ll be attending a huge Easter Egg Hunt and we are all so excited! I definitely foresee this becoming an annual Easter time tradition. Between the egg hunts at their grandparents’, our church, the local zoo and this new event, I think they’re going to be egg-hunting pros by next year. I love these comfy, light pink polos on them! And come on, what mom doesn’t love matching their kids?! It can’t just be my obsession, right?! I’m going to dress them alike for as long as I can get away with it!
OshKosh B’gosh has so many great shirts and pants and Easter outfits that come in a variety of sizes and colors. It makes it so easy for me to coordinate or match sibling outfits for special occasions and for our every day play wear, too!
Another major reason, we love this time of year is because it’s usually the start of Spring for us. Michigan is sort of confused when it comes to the Spring season, but for the last few years, we’ve had warm, Spring weather around Easter time. I can’t wait to spend more time outdoors with the kids. We’re all in need of some major outdoor time after being inside all winter-months long.
