Happy Monday! I am so refreshed from a weekend full of sunshine! I’m still getting over (another) head cold, but it was so good to be outside all weekend long. Hope you were all enjoying a bit of sunshine and warm weather, too!
Read below for a bumpdate and weekend recap and don’t forget to link-up with your current posts!
I can’t believe it, but I am already 24 weeks along. It’s such a big milestone in pregnancy. While we still have some time to meet our newest little love, I’m happy to know that we’ve reached viability. I am grateful every day for this healthy pregnancy and baby. Especially after suffering an early loss a few years ago, I don’t take for granted how lucky I am to have average, uneventful pregnancies and my boys.
I’m feeling well most days, though I think my bump has popped and I feel like my belly is growing every day. The heartburn is in full force and so is the insomnia! But, I’m happy to say that I’m eating well and love that I have energy to keep up with the boys most days.
I have a check-up this week and then next month will be my glucose exam. I’m still in shock mode and I think I’ll probably remain here until he’s actually here! For now, I’m just enjoying his baby kicks and enjoying my growing bump!
Oh, sunshine! Sunshine is so, so good for our MI souls. We’re usually in need of Vitamin D during our long, winter months. 65 degree days in February are unheard of, but we thoroughly enjoyed our warm, sun-filled weekend! I toted the kids around to run some of our usual errands and spent most of our days outside! Riding cars, bikes, drawing with chalk and basking in the sunshine.
Yesterday was a special day for our family. We had our sweet C baptized. It was a small, intimate ceremony with our parents. We weren’t sure how C would do since he was one of the oldest babies/toddlers getting baptized, but it went smoothly! It was a beautiful day of celebrating Jesus and our son’s baptism. His gracious hand over our lives is something we try to live by and remember every day. Our hearts are overjoyed to share our love for Jesus with our kids and hope that they come to know Him in their lives as we have exprienced thus far in our lives. May Jesus who loves all children, bless your little one with His love and grace on this special day and always.
