We’re firm believers that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. We typically kick-off an hours long breakfast, with yogurt for all of us! It’s usually the first thing C asks/points for when he wakes up in the morning. Since we weaned from nursing just before his first birthday, C has been a hungry, hungry monster. Seriously, this kid eats all day long. From the moment he wakes up until bedtime, he is always wanting something to eat! He loves his Gerber Lil’ Bits and I love that it’s helped him to curate a diverse palate for fruits and veggies.
I’m always looking for ways to change up his usual favorites. The easiest is to make a baby-friendly version of things that my husband and I both like to eat, too! Today, I’m sharing with you a simple and easy recipe for a Fruit & Yogurt Parfait for babies! Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 package of Gerber Lil’ Bits (any fruit flavor)
- 1 cup of (Greek) yogurt
- 1 tablespoon of milk (coconut, almond, or cow’s)
Mix all ingredients to the texture preference of your baby. Serve when ready or refrigerate for another meal!

Yumm great idea! I have issues getting my kids to eat, but they love yogurt! I love the idea of using this recipe to sneak in the fruit 😉 Thanks!
This is a great idea, I love that it’s healthy but mixes up their routine as well!
Breakfast is definitely the most important meal of the day. When my boys were young, I really tried to get a good breakfast in them every morning. I encourage young mothers to also do the same. Good job Mom!
Such a great idea! I just bought some of these for my son to try, may have to try it with the Greek yogurt! Thanks for sharing.
Awesome and delicious idea for babies and toddlers to enjoy! My kids used to love Gerber products when they were young but I never thought about adding Greek yogurt such a clever idea.
I’ll have to try these with my son-although he hates being spoon fed but isn’t very good with one himself
Such a cute idea! My little guy would love something like this!
Great idea! Mine also wants to eat everything he sees, seems like a bottomless container!
What a great idea!! I might just be trying this soon although I usually just throw in some frozen fruit haha
what a great idea! I always gave my littles plain yogurt because the “baby” yogurts had so much added sugar!
I need to remember this yogurt and lil bits mix when my baby gets a little older! A perfect snack or meal for them!
I’m definitley going to grab some of the veggie ones tonight!!! I’m having troubles getting my girls to eat veggies but I think mixing gerbers lil bits in with other foods will help!!!!
Great idea! I’ll have to pick some of those up at the store. I think my daughter will love them!
Yummy! He looks like a happy little boy!
I love the Gerber Little bits for my little one! I agree about breakfast being the most important meal of the day 🙂
My baby loves Gerber baby food. I never thought to use it to make a parfait for him. I still have quite a few Gerber fruits left so I’m going to give this a try!
This is perfect timing. We just got the OK to start our little guy on yogurt. I will have to try this out!
Oh this is a great idea. If I ever have another kid, I will definitely be doing this. My toddler has graduated to fruit snacks and chips for dinner. 🙂

Making yogurt and fruit parfaits for little ones is such a fun idea!
This looks so good and even though my daughter doesn’t eat “baby food” anymore, I occasionally use it as a syrup or jelly alternative for pancakes and toast! Definitely thinking about trying this on some toast as well. It sounds weird but I bet it’ll taste so good…
My lil one loves yogurt parfait. Honestly me too, s I often make it at home
My little guy loves these too!
My daughter would love this! I still have a couple left over Lil’ Bits from this campaign so I think I’ll make this for breakfast tomorrow.
