A Casual Wedding Outfit & Rocksbox

This past holiday weekend, we headed up north to attend a casual backyard wedding for one of D’s cousins. I received my first RocksBox a couple of weeks ago and decided to add a gorgeous Kendra Scott drop pendant and tassel necklace to my outfit. RocksBox is a preminum jewelry rental subscription box. The weather was absolutely gorgeous. Sunny and warm out during the day and cool overnight. We had a weekend full of holiday fun. The wedding was our first event for the weekend and it was full of laughter, love, and yummy food and drinks!

My outfit choices were a little play on the holiday red, white, and blue. I chose an ivory top, navy lace shorts, and coral wedges. Some of my staple pieces and easy to style for any outfit, even for an average style-lista like me. See the links below to shop my picks!

This was my first style post where I ‘hired’ my husband to take pictures for me. I’m still trying to figure it all out (as my awkward poses depict, haha), but clearly you can see that he had me laughing telling me how to pose and how the light was hitting me and my necklace. 

The navy lace shorts from Loft were a steal on sale! I had to pick up another pair after falling in love with the white pair I bought earlier this summer.

The Lush Roll Tab Sleeve Tunic is one of my wardrobe staples. I have a few in different colors. They’re usually part of the semi-annual sale at Nordstrom, so be sure to pick one (or a few) up soon!

The t-strap wedges are a few years old from Steve Madden. For being 4 inches tall, they’re super comfortable. I wore them all night and danced with my boys in them too! I’ve linked the items below, so be sure to check it out and shop!
